Privacy
This is a stub, not lawyer copy. It is honest about the data the product actually needs.
What we store
- Steam identity. If you sign in with Steam, we keep your
steamid, persona name, and avatar so the account is yours on the next visit. - Cached libraries. Public Game details get pulled from Steam and cached so we are not hitting Valve on every spin. Private or friends-only libraries stay empty here. OpenID does not unlock them.
- Spin history. When you spin (solo or in a lobby), we keep what came up so you can look back and so a lobby can share one result. Optional lock-ins (“we’re doing this”) stay on that record. We keep this until you ask the operator to delete it.
- Session cookie. A normal Django session plus a CSRF cookie so the browser can talk to the API. No email, no password.
What we do not do
We do not scrape Steam with your cookies. We do not sell a marketing list. Staff can see break-glass Django admin; that is not your daily driver.
Questions: the operator who runs fuckitspin.com. Meanwhile, back to the wheel.
